In January of 2001, Marquis Orthopedic, Inc. ("Marquis Orthopedic"), was formed. We are an orthopedic implant distributor for one of the world's leading orthopedic manufacturers, Biomet Orthopedics, Inc. ("Biomet"). Marquis Orthopedic is the exclusive distributor for Biomet implants in Northeastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania, including Pittsburgh.
Marquis has had a consistent 20% growth year after year. In fact, Marquis Orthopedic was selected as one of the top three distributors in the country in 2006.
Marquis Orthopedic's past success has led us to focus our future on the following three areas:
- Patients: Marquis Orthopedic will offer educational programs to surgeons for the purpose of educating their patients not only on the potential benefits Biomet products, but also on what to expect before, during and after the surgery. By providing tools for the best education possible, we can help improve the patient's surgery experience as well as the communication between the patient and physician.
- Surgeon: Marquis Orthopedic continues to make office efficiency and support of its physician clients its top priority. Our focus on serving our physician clients will make working with Marquis Orthopedic an effortless experience, allowing the physician to put his/her focus on patient care.
- Hospital: Marquis Orthopedic works closely with the hospital orthopedic and surgery departments to help surgery run more smoothly. Our goal is to ensure proper delivery, storage, surgery set-up and sterilization procedures in advance, so that the physician will not have to concern him/herself with anything but patient care.
We believe that managing the entire "continuum of care" will be the key to our success in the coming years. Working together as a team with surgeons and hospital administration will differentiate Marquis Orthopedic from its competitors.
